Brian Weaver Honored for Excellence in Team Development

CALHOUN, LA, July 3, 2015, Brian Weaver has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in organization and team development.

With 20 years of overall professional business experience, Brian Weaver is currently exploring new leadership opportunities. Throughout his career, he has set himself apart as an expert in the areas of organization, team development, leadership, resource management, strategic planning and execution, and continuous improvement. In prior roles, he served as an executive member of the market area of North and South America inclusively, where he was responsible for all aspects of United States operations and for a 225,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility. He also handled strategic oversight and profit-and-loss management of United States operations.

Looking back, Mr. Weaver attributes his success to his ambition, high energy and focus. He is extremely tenacious when it comes to achieving his goals. He is charismatic and has a positive attitude, and is a believer in continuous improvement. Mr. Weaver became involved in his profession because he was interested in the operations environment. He always saw a need for management and scheduling resources. He landed a job with his current employer and has never looked back.

Mr. Weaver received an MBA from Louisiana Tech University in 2000 and a Bachelor of Science in management, production and operations in 1994. In addition to his degrees, he is a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), with additional certifications in business management, purchasing management, integrated resources management, and production and inventory management. He maintains affiliation with APICS, the Louisiana Tech University Alumni Association, the Institute for Supply Management,  Beta Gamma Sigma, Inc. and the Association of Professionals in Business Management. In recognition of his hard work and talent, Mr. Weaver was presented with the Irvin W. Kilpatrick Outstanding Purchasing Management Award in 2006 and a Lantern Award in 1998. In the near future, Mr. Weaver intends to serve in a leadership position with which he can apply skills to bring success when developing and executing strategies. He wants to meet and exceed company goals and objectives with a team that he can foster and nurture.
