COLUMBIA, SC, November 24, 2015, Charles P. Austin Jr., Motivational Speaker, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in administrative services and motivational speaking.

With nearly a decade and a half of practiced industry experience, Charles Austin is uniquely positioned to oversee a wide range of services on behalf of his sole proprietorship. During the course of his daily routine, he protects lives, property, and the environment through the enforcement of fire codes and public fire safety education programs. He investigates incidents of arson, and provides rapid, effective responses to and mitigation of fires, rescue incidents, hazardous material leaks, and natural disasters. In addition to his administrative work, Charles is an internationally known motivational speaker. His motto is: “Through God, all things are possible.” He speaks to high school students, people with disabilities, and a variety of other groups regarding graduation, going to college, living a healthy life, and breaking into the working world.

Charles excels in his field due to a combination of his prior industry experiences and his educational background, which includes a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Claflin University, a master’s degree in human resources management from Webster University, and certificates in information processing and Microsoft Office from Midlands Technical College. Charles also completed the Supervisory Certificate program from Midlands Technical College in 2013. Charles is an international motivational presenter. Charles was the 2014 International Speech Champion in Toastmasters District 58.  Throughout his notable career, he has won a variety of awards, including the Advanced Communicator Gold Award and the Advanced Leader Bronze Award through Saturday AM Toastmasters, nine Triple Crown Awards, and he became a semi-finalist in public speaking at a World Championship in Malaysia in August 2014. Charles is a current member of Saturday AM Toastmasters Club, Mid-tech Challengers Toastmasters Club, Palmetto Mastercrafters, and Columbia Toastmasters Club.  Looking ahead, Mr. Austin aspires to become a recording artist. He would like to start his own human resources firm, and continue public speaking. Despite having a disability, Charles is very active in the community. In his spare time, Charles enjoys smiling, laughing, swimming, watching television, writing songs, writing poetry, aerobics, taking pictures, learning to play the piano, spending time with family and friends, and a variety of other activities.  In addition, Charles has done a lot of volunteer work for agencies such as Easter Seals, Special Olympics, Protection and Advocacy, the United Way of the Midlands, the Arc of South Carolina, and Pro Parents of South Carolina. Charles is a member of People on the Go, an organization that advocates for the rights of people with disabilities, and he serves on the Board of Directors for the Arc of South Carolina and The Dreher Foundation.
