Danielle A. Lechette Selected for Excellence in Strategic Purchasing

Ms. Lechette started working in purchasing after serving an extended tour of duty in the military

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA, January 23, 2015, Danielle A. Lechette, MBA, Senior Buyer for Jacobs Engineering Group, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in strategic purchasing.

Ms. Lechette has 25 years of experience in the industry, and is presently a senior buyer for Jacobs Engineering Group. Her areas of expertise include capital equipment, field services relating to capital equipment projects and information technology purchasing. Jacobs Engineering Group is a service company that provides scientific and specialty consulting, engineering, construction, operations, maintenance, and a full spectrum support to industrial, commercial and government clients across multiple markets.

Ms. Lechette served in support of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm from 1991 to 1992.  She attributes her success to her hard work and educational background. She became involved in her profession after serving in the U.S. Air Force and working with Jacobs Engineering Group. Her excellence in her field was recognized with an Elite American membership with Worldwide Branding in 2011 and 2014, and a Top Female recognition in 2012 and 2013 from the same organization. She was featured in Profiles Magazine in 2011 and 2012, and will be featured in the Worldwide Branding Calendar in 2015.

Ms. Lechette earned a MBA with a Concentration in Supply Chain Management from Strayer University in 2009 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2003. Professionally, she is affiliated with the Institute for Supply Management, The American Legion and was the board director of programs for the Purchasing Management Association of Philadelphia in 2009. She is currently the board director of Diversity and Supplier Relations for ISM-Philadelphia. In the future, Ms. Lechette plans to utilize what she has learned to create her own company and work as an independent contractor.
