Jesse S. Gerner Honored for Excellence in the Culinary Arts

THORNBURY, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA, August 29, 2014, Jesse S. Gerner, Director  of Bomba Tapas Bar and Rooftop Pty Ltd has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in hospitality.

Mr. Gerner has 12 years of professional experience, with six years as a director of Bomba Tapas Bar and Rooftop Pty Ltd. Throughout his career, he has continuously developed his skills regarding fine wine and hospitality, as well as his work as a chef. On a daily basis, he is responsible for overseeing daily operations of two restaurants: Añada, and Bomba Tapas Bar and Rooftop. This involves developing new recipes, participating in speaking engagements, selling and distributing wine, serving as a chef, and raising funds for charitable organizations.

Looking back, he attributes his success to working hard. He became involved in his profession because he has always enjoyed cooking and the restaurant industry. He traveled to Spain and conducted a lot of research for one of his first restaurants, Añada. A natural progression of opportunities has followed since that point.

Mr. Gerner received a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery from TAFE, and he maintains affiliation with the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron and the Pickle Club of Melbourne. In years to come, Mr. Gerner plans to build his spirits brand, expand Bomba Tapas Bar and Rooftop, and continue cooking.
