Laila El Gammal Recognized by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Textile Sales

Laila El Gammal was recently distinguished as a Top Female Executive

SURREY, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, March 25, 2014, Laila El Gammal, Managing Director of Nobeltex, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in textile sales.

Ms. El Gammal possesses nearly four decades of professional experience and expertise in sales. She utilizes her experience and skills in her role as managing director and owner of Nobeltex, a trusted textile company based in Egypt. Her role primarily entails selling products, working as an agent for European companies, performing quality assurance inspections, and communicating with clients. Ms. El Gammal has garnered a number of professional honors in recognition of her exceptional work. A VIP member of Worldwide Branding, she was named a Professional of the Year in Textile Sales in 2013. More recently, she was distinguished as a Top Female Executive.

In 1991, Ms. El Gammal established her own company, Nobeltex Agencies, in Egypt in partnership with her daughter, Nayla El Tawil, and her son, Amr El Tawil. In 2007, Ms. El Gammal was invited with Ms. El Tawil at the World Bank in Washington to attend the "Roundtable on the Role of Women in the Development of the Private Sector in the Middle East" where she was awarded the Award of Excellence in business. In 2011, Ms. El Gammal and Ms. El Tawil established their affiliate, Nobletex BC Agency Corporation, in British Columbia Canada., through which they manage the supply of textile machinery and accessories by their International Suppliers via Nobeltex Agencies Egypt to the Egyptian market.

In 1968, Ms. El Gammal earned a Master of Science in chemical engineering from Alexandria University in Egypt. She previously earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the same institution. It was through her father, one of the pillars of the textile industry in Egypt, that she became involved in her current profession when she joined his company GIES, an agency for international textile machinery manufacturers, in 1976. Having been inspired to pursue her line of work by her father, Ms. El Gammal hopes to be succeeded by her daughter in the future.
