Melody Joy Novak Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Music & Entertainment

Melody Joy Novak "Lexa Terrestrial" celebrates her success as a rapper and pop singer who produces her own music

Melody Joy Novak, President of Melody Joy Entertainment Inc., was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Branding. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success. 

She goes by LEXA TERRESTRIAL. 

Ms. Novak is a fast, vivacious rapper and pop singer who writes and produces her own music. She also has been top lining for major publishing companies & artists. People go to her for unique, catchy Top 40 hits. She is currently studying voice and vocal techniques in hopes she may one day teach voice as well as have her own record label, branding & publishing company. She has spent the past 2 years making her mark on New York City's underground music scene, and in that time, has become a recognized figure anywhere that outlandish attire and debaucherous behavior is welcomed.

She appeared on the front cover of the 10 Anniversary Issue of The Deli (Brooklyn/NYC's top underground music publication).

She won the Coast 2 Coast Hip-Hop Competition and came in 1st Place in NYC at Santo's Party House & has been persistently pursuing hip-hop since.

After filming a controversial music video with a catchy anthem, entitled "Ronald Reagan" she enjoyed her viral success, but Youtube quickly ended the fun. 

She however, didn't. She teamed up with Taylor Gang's "Tuki Carter" and recorded a track entitled "Beauty is Pain", which she produced herself. 

Her next music video was shot shortly after with a B-Grade, Creepshow, Tarantino-style direction and done by Complex, one of hip-hop's biggest media companies. Directed by Ryan Wick.
It was a creepy, bloody music video about the vain state in which society and media are in. 

Her next two music videos were just shot. "Pull the Trigger" was produced by Coops Anderson & Alex Goumas. Coops has won Grammy's for Kanye West, and the Band "FUN". The Top 40 style dance-pop track has a unique hook and lyrics and the music video produced by Joseph Patrick Conroy (Americana Media) has an odd twist to it. She collaborated with the Backdrop, a gallery & venue in Brooklyn, NYC, as well as a genius makeup artist Brittany Diaz-Francavilla.

Her title track off of her next mixtape is called "TAZER" feat. Jarren Benton who tours with Hopsin & is signed to Funk Volume (Los Angeles).

She has also filmed a romantic film-noir style video with Director A.M Fine for a track entitled "Helluva Drug" produced by NUG Beats & Tekneek (Philadelphia).

All Music Video's & Tracks will be out later this year 2015.

Ms. Novak cares about people, especially her live audiences, and the loyal followers. This aspect of her personality really shows in her live performances. She wears her heart on her sleeve, where it competes for space with her very large bows. She has been described as a cult classic, and she is not satisfied unless she knows that every person in the room is forgetting about their worries and having a great time.

Sporting a classic look, akin to Audrey Hepburn, Ms. Novak often surprises people when she begins rapping. She is a business woman with her own label and LLC, and she has successfully sold two albums, marketed shows, sold merchandise, and not only has maintained, but excelled in a dying music industry.

She is working on her latest Mmxtape/album which is being executive produced by Billy Kahn, the genius A&R who discovered Britney Spears.

Looking back, Ms. Novak attributes her success to her willpower, belief in dreams, and caffeine. She became involved in her profession because music and entertainment have always been the biggest influences in her life. It is in her blood, and how she keeps from being bored. Any time she has tried to escape it and do what she thought the world expected of her, she grew extremely depressed. As a sufferer from anxiety/depression/OCD & Anorexia she speaks out on a lot of these topics with her fans. 

She struggles every day to get past her demons & instill faith & confidence in herself as well as the rest of the world. 

She believes in human progress, self betterment and the evolution of humanity. And enjoys reading about science, How To's, loves watching Star Trek, Anime & horror movies. She loves Japanese culture, as well as comic books. 

Ms. Novak has many ideas, and accomplishing them all is what she lives to do. Working keeps her going, and she loves proving to herself that she can get better at what she does. The highlight of her career was moving to New York City and making a huge splash with her music there, in just one year. She has worked with legendary Grammy Award winning producers and artists in infamous studios and has been appreciated and respected for her work and spirit. She truly enjoys doing something big and courageous, and being able to use her struggles to psychologically relate and help people through music.

It is her goal to try to get over her anxiety disorder, progress as an artist, build a successful brand of Bow Lines & Music. And perhaps finally go on tour.
