Michael Azzi Honored for Excellence in Environmental Compliance

Mr. Azzi leads a team of compliance officers and environmental health officers

EARLWOOD, NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA, March 20, 2014, Michael Azzi, Coordinator of Health and Environmental Compliance of Rockdale City Council has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.

Mr. Azzi has 15 years of professional experience, having recently become a coordinator of health and environmental compliance of Rockdale City Council. Over the years, he has established himself as an expert in business administration. On a daily basis, he is responsible for leading a team of compliance officers and environmental health officers, as well as developing policies and procedures and dealing with the public on a daily basis. In addition, he regularly oversees the complaint register and addresses its contents.

Mr. Azzi is a loyal individual who has a hunger for knowledge. He was raised in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia, and instructed in the Catholic education system. He has formal qualifications in architecture, health and building surveying, business administration, management, and urban and regional planning. He attributes his success to his determination.

Mr. Azzi received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Sydney, a master's degree in urban and regional planning and a bachelor's degree in architecture, all from the University of Sydney. In addition to his degrees, he is an accredited building certifier. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with the Local Government Managers Association and the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors. In 2011, he received the John Odongo Prize in Economic and Community Development from the University of Sydney in 2011, having received the John Toon Prize in Environmental Planning the year prior. In years to come, Mr. Azzi would like to become a general manager of an organization or run his own business.
