Nancy Feinberg represents her clients in matrimonial, divorce and custody cases

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ, February 13, 2014, Nancy S. Feinberg, Partner of Feinberg & Feinberg, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in law.
Ms. Feinberg has 38 years of experience as a partner of Feinberg & Feinberg, where she is known as an expert in matrimonial and divorce law. On a daily basis, she is responsible for managing payroll, as well as hiring new employees and assisting clients with tasks related to their cases. Nancy has served as a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist (MESP) since the program’s inception in Essex County and also serves as a Divorce and Family Law Mediator. The Essex County Superior Court has recognized Ms. Feinberg for her service in as a panelist in trying to resolve cases between the parties and their respective attorneys for more than 20 years. She also serves as a court approved divorce and family law mediator.
In 1994, Ms. Feinberg represented Nihal Abequa in a divorce matter. Tragically, her husband murdered her and abducted their children, fleeing to Jordan. Ms. Feinberg traveled to Jordan, and after negotiating with the Jordanian government with the assistance of King Hussein, successfully brought her client's two children back to the United States. Aside from the reunification of the family, the Jordanian government prosecuted the father on murder and kidnapping charges. The father was then tried and convicted and imprisoned. This was notable, as in the past, the government viewed these cases as crimes of passion and no action would be taken.
Looking back, Ms. Feinberg attributes her success to her tenacity and dedication, as well as her innate understanding of people. She also pays attention to detail and is thorough throughout the case. She became involved in her profession in order to make a difference in others' lives and meet the challenges of the diverse situations found in the family law arena.
Ms. Feinberg received a JD from The University of Toledo and a Bachelor of Arts from the Livingston Campus of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. She was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with the Essex Bar Association and the Essex County Family Law Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, as well as the New Jersey Judiciary. In years to come, Ms. Feinberg would like to continue down the same path.
