Mr. Breda has 33 years of work experience, and has spent that last 26 years as the director of APR Detailed Joinery Pty Limited. His expertise lies in the areas of timber veneers, new business development and sustainable design. APR Detailed Joinery Pty Limited is a manufacturer that provides joinery products such as boardroom, meeting, dining, coffee and occasional tables, custom-made credenzas and freestanding office furnishings, mobile and lateral files, audiovisual shelving, and library units and lecterns. Mr. Breda has, along with his work with APR Detailed Joinery, served since 1987 as co-director alongside his brother for his family’s construction company, called A. Breda Building Co., where Mr. Breda was employed for more than five years as a carpenter, joiner and builder. He advises young professionals entering their career to never quit anything no matter how hard it gets and to be passionate about what they do. He has won many prestigious awards, including the Jack Leslie Honours Award from Bankstown TAFE.

He attributes his success to his passion for this work, as well as his work ethic and determination. As director, Mr. Breda strives to maintain the standard of excellence that has long been preserved by the company. He became involved in his profession through his desire to make the most of his long-standing passion for entrepreneurship and manufacturing. After experiencing a natural progression of opportunities, he grew into his role as director of the company.

In order to stay abreast of trends in his indsutry, Mr. Breda is professionally affiliated with the Timber Veneer Association of Australia, and serves as a judge for Corporate Culture’s Design Journey Competition. Outside of his professional career, he supports the Save Our Sons charity. In the coming years, Mr. Breda plans to continue growing professionally while expanding the company’s operations, both nationally and internationally.
