Susan Romano-Davis Named Professional of the Year in Consulting Services

LA ROMAINE, TRINIDAD, November 26, 2014, Susan Romano-Davis, Director and Agency Manager of Sumar Consultants Limited, has been named a Worldwide Branding Professional of the Year in Consulting Services. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

Ms. Romano-Davis has 29 years of professional experience, with 18 years of experience as a director and agency manager of Sumar Consultants Limited. Throughout her career, she has established herself as an expert in financial planning and change management. On a daily basis, she focuses on team building, while working with her clients and consulting in change management.

Looking back, Ms. Romano-Davis attributes her success to her ability to build relationships and maintain them, as well as her faith. She became involved in her profession when she started her career in banking and moved up the corporate ladder; she changed careers to insurance, and has been advancing ever since.

Ms. Romano-Davis completed postgraduate studies in human resources management from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business in 1995, having earned a Bachelor of Science in management from The University of the West Indies in 1988. In addition to her degree, she is a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow, and she is certified in management teaching and training adults. Ms. Romano-Davis is a financial services specialist, with an additional certification in agency management. Her leadership has enabled her unit to receive the Unit of the Year Award from the Sagicor Financial Corporation from 2009-2011. In years to come, Ms. Romano-Davis hopes to continue her current level of success.
