Tracy M. McGee Inducted into Worldwide Who’s Who for Excellence in Counseling

GRAND RAPIDS, MI, July 30, 2013, Tracy M. McGee, Therapist and Owner of The Comfort Boutique & Counseling Center, has been recognized by Worldwide Who’s Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in counseling.

Tracy McGee is devoted to providing the highest level of therapeutic care to clients. With 16 years of professional experience, she has honed her expertise in a range of mental health issues, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, grief, ADHD, and substance abuse. In addition to counseling her clients, she also develops educational material. She wrote a self-help book for those who have been raised in alcoholic homes titled “Hurry Before the Snow Flies.” Ms. McGee has worked in all levels of her field and opened The Comfort Boutique & Counseling Center in 2012.

Ms. McGee ventured into the field of mental health due to a family tragedy. After a loved one committed suicide, she dedicated one year to the local Crisis Hot Line in memory of her family member. The year of service led to a lifetime commitment to those who struggle in life. Ms. McGee attributes her success to her willingness to dream big, work hard, and risk failing.

In 1997, Ms. McGee received a master’s degree in counseling education and counseling psychology from Western Michigan University. She also holds a specialty certificate in alcohol and drug abuse, and is a Limited Licensed Psychologist in the state of Michigan. She remains current in her field through affiliation with a number of professional organizations, including the American Counseling Association.
