William Rodriguez Recognized by Worldwide Branding for Excellence in Information Systems

William Rodriguez’s attentive and assertive nature has allowed him to thrive professionally

NEW YORK, NY, July 8, 2015, William Rodriguez, LAN Administrator and Consultant of Technology Support Information Resources at Con Edison, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Branding. Mr. Rodriguez has 12 years of professional experience, with three years as a LAN administrator and consultant of technology support information resources at Con Edison. Each day, he is responsible for providing local area network support for more than 500 clients, in addition to installing and troubleshooting specialized software that is relevant to clients’ daily job functions. He also offers critical system support during outages, storms and other critical catastrophes that may impact the operations of the corporate infrastructure and response. In the past, he has participated in the successful rollout/upgrade packages of Windows 7 to more than 16,000 employees of Consolidated Edison of New York.

Mr. Rodriguez’s additional projects include the Stoner Project, which was started in 2013. The aim of the project is to develop specialized software to analyze steam pressures and flows for scientific and training purposes. He also contributed to the Tableau Project and the LotInfo Project, which involve the sharing of interactive data and the analysis of steam data, respectively.

Mr. Rodriguez is fluent in English and Spanish. Looking back, he attributes his success to his education. He became involved in his profession because he was always interested in desktop computers.

Mr. Rodriguez received an Associate of Science in electronics from the Programming System Institute in 1989. In addition to his degree, he holds certifications in MCSE Desktop Infrastructure, MCSA Server, Cisco CCNA, MCSA Server 2003, MCP, CNST, Security+, Network+, MCITP, MCTS Server and A+. In years to come, Mr. Rodriguez intends to continue learning and keeping up with changes in technology.
