Michael P. Levesque Distinguished as a Trailblazer Providing Oil, Gas and Wind Energy Solutions

WINDSOR, ONTARIO, CANADA, February 8, 2013, Michael P. Levesque, President and Chief Technical Officer of Worldwide Operations and Control, Engineered Systems Incorporated, has been recognized by Worldwide Who’s Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in engineering and energy systems.

Mr. Levesque grew up in the small town of Petrolia, Ontario, the birthplace of the oil and gas industry in North America. Like his forefathers, he has consistently worked to blaze a path through uncharted waters. Mr. Levesque has 29 years of professional experience in engineering and energy systems. For the past 25 years he has thrived as president and chief technical officer of Worldwide Operations and Control, Engineered Systems Incorporated. With expertise in electrical and electronics engineering, he oversees power engineering project design and development. Furthermore, he ensures the success of the business including all related planning, product design, marketing and graphics.

Mr. Levesque has worked for some of the best companies worldwide. As a principle design engineer for General Electric Power Systems, he was a part of teams that had built more than 2000MW of wind power in North America — all before he was 30 years old. He formed Engineered Systems in 1994 from Advanced Electronics Lte., a company that Mr. Levesque started in high school. Mr. Levesque oversees 47 affiliate companies. He also presides over a staff of 32 direct reports and more than 10,000 staff worldwide.

Mr. Levesque received a Master of Science in electrical engineering in 2004 from Hong Kong Polytechnic. He received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the State University of New York Institute of Technology at Utica, Rome. In 1995, he received a Bachelor of Science in systems and computer engineering from the University of Guelph. In 1992, he earned a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering technology from the Lambton College of Applied Arts and Technology.

Mr. Levesque is a member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians & Technologists, Professional Engineers Ontario, Professional Engineers China, the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and the Surface Mount Technology Association. In 2008, Mr. Levesque participated in the CPE Olympic Games, Beijing. In 2007, he was the recipient of the Premiers Award for Engineering Excellence from Ontario. From 2005-2006, he was distinguished as the UNSF Supplier of the Year; in 2006, he was singled out as IPC Designer of the Year. From 2001 to 2003, his company won the ACE Best New Company distinction. Mr. Levesque donates to the Police Association of Ontario, the  Canadian Diabetes Association, the Canadian Cancer Association and the Knights of Columbus. In 2011, Ms. Levesque was singled out as a Worldwide Who’s Who Professional of the Year in Engineering & Energy Systems; in 2013, he received the accolade for the year.
