Ryan Hanks Honored for Excellence in Landscape Design & Horticulture

KNOXVILLE, TN, March 22, 2014, Ryan Hanks, Hardscape Specialist, Project Manager and Non-Executive Director of Willow Ridge, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in landscape design and horticulture.

Mr. Hanks’ interest in ornamental horticulture and landscape design has led to a successful career. He is a self starter, top-level producer and hardscape specialist who has excelled in the creation of outdoor living spaces for more than 12 years. In his current role with Willow Ridge, a trusted provider of landscape and garden services, Mr. Hanks serves as a sales/design and project management leader, as well as a non-executive director. He oversees lead generation, organizational management and business development. His further responsibilities include creative project design, product development, and strategic planning.

Prior to his work with Willow Ridge, Mr. Hanks owned and operated a lucrative company called Earth Designs. In 2001, he earned a bachelor’s degree in ornamental horticulture and landscape design, with a minor in business, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In his first job out of college, he receive a Safety Award from All Phase Landscape for completing a multimillion dollar street scape project in Denver, Colo. Mr. Hanks is a CAC certified contractor, authorized Belgard installer, and ICPI certified installer He also holds a PICP designation. Mr. Hanks was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding in recognition of his accomplishments. He looks forward to continued advancement in his career in the years to come.
